Sleep Music Alarm ("the App") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data the App collects and how it is used.

1. Health Data (HealthKit)

The App uses Apple's HealthKit framework to provide the following features:

Sleep data (read & write) — Used to record and display sleep stages (Awake, REM, Core, and Deep Sleep).
Heart rate (read) — Used with Apple Watch to detect light sleep and trigger the smart alarm.
Resting heart rate (read) — Used to estimate sleep stages.

HealthKit data is processed entirely on your device. It is never sent to external servers, stored remotely, shared with third parties, or used for advertising purposes.

2. Location Data

The App uses location data for the following purposes:

Weather forecast — Your approximate location is used to display local weather information (Premium feature).
Sunrise and sunset times — Used for time-based alarm scheduling.
Background Assist — The App may briefly access location data in the background to maintain alarm reliability after system interruptions.

Location is collected at reduced accuracy (approximate location only). Location data is held in temporary memory on your device and is not stored persistently or transmitted externally.

3. Advertising

The App uses the following advertising services:

Google AdMob (mediation platform)
AppLovin
Unity Ads
Vungle (Liftoff)
AdGeneration
FiveAd (LINE)

These services may collect device information (device model, OS version, etc.) and IP address for ad delivery. Personalized ads are only served when you have given consent.

4. Analytics and Crash Reporting

The App uses the following services to improve the user experience:

Firebase Analytics — Collects anonymous usage data (screen views, feature usage frequency). No user IDs are associated with this data.
Firebase Crashlytics — Collects crash reports to help fix issues.
Firebase Cloud Messaging — Used to deliver push notifications.

For users in the EEA (European Economic Area), data collection is enabled only after explicit consent. Consent is managed through the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP).

5. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

On iOS 14.5 and later, the App requests your permission before accessing the device's advertising identifier (IDFA) for personalized advertising. You can decline without affecting any app functionality.

6. Personal Information

If you provide personal information such as your email address when contacting us, it will be used solely to respond to your inquiry and for no other purpose.

7. Disclosure to Third Parties

Your personal information will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law.

8. Data Storage

App data such as alarm settings, sleep records, and alarm history is stored in a local database on your device. If iCloud backup is enabled, this data may be backed up to Apple's servers.

9. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

10. Website Contact Form

The contact form on this website uses Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
